I'm brand new to freesound. I'm an artist: http://soundcloud.com/daysofsunshine
And I'm looking for sounds I can put in the background of certain tracks like rain, explosions, ect. So first of all I have to do to use these sounds is credit the producer somewhere/anywhere (probably song description). Second, can I legally sell the track as long as, once again, I credit somewhere?
Thanks, forgive me for being a newbie. God bless.
Well it depends I also make music and there are copyright laws clearly, but what you must do is in every sound description there is a copyright thing on the side saying in the description near the download and if you click on it it will tell you everything you need to know. Some of them you don't have to credit the author completely pending and you CAN sell it just you can't be the author of the sound.
