What constitutes a performance ?
So far I uploaded a sequence of notes * loops ) and one chord progression( looped ).
I noticed there are some synth samples on this site what are the rules on that , I mean in order to make them I would think you would have to use plug ins designed by who knows who .
And also some acapella samples .
I am a musician like I bet many people here on this site are as well and want to share some of that in samples guitar(S) . Base guitar , vocal lead and harmony as well as keyboard and synthesis and synthesis sample creation synthetic as well as real sounds modified by and as a synth and plug ins.
I love sound period like my sample of a squeaky door but I can do music and make loops.
So what exactly constitutes a performance .
I guess an entire several minute track of any instruments or vocal obviously would be a performance though sure would be easy to get samples from an individual track from a single instrument or vocal but where is the line drawn exactly ?
Incidentally I would just love to get a bunch OF female vocal samples I could really use that even a full set of phonemes would be very useful .

First read this http://www.freesound.org/help/faq/
So, stay away from what the soundcloud is. Do not press the limits. Why should you?
And.... There is no hard limit but try to feel what freesound wants and what not. That is not that dificult..
I think this is the common opinion here.
