I'm making an app for android, and found some great sounds that would be perfect, they are all listed under: This work is licensed under the Attribution License.
There is a menu in my game, currently it has 'new game', 'website' and 'sound on/off' buttons. I was thinking originally to put credits on my website, but after going through license, not sure if that's OK as is.
If I change 'website' to 'website/credits' button, and on the website list the credits is that good enough?
Or if I change 'website' to 'credits' button, and on website list the credits, is that ok?
I use rather large font for buttons, so I can't have a button that says:
"This game uses many sounds from freesound, for the full list click here."
I can add 'freesound credits' button, and that could open website.
The reason I'm trying to get away without having a credits screen, is mostly a technical reason - I'd have to code it. There is no where in the app that anyone else is credited, I was going to put my name (and wife's - for images) only on the website.
Another reason (full disclaimer) is I'd like to encourage user to visit my website, so it's not purely a technical reason.
Please note: If the internet is unavailable on the device (or turned off), than all my proposals won't show any credits - as I am thinking to put it exclusively on website, so if it is unreachable, no credits.
This might be of some importance: app will be listed for probably 99 cents, it won't be free.

I guess all the mentioned proposals are okay. It just must be clear that there are people credited.
In a theatre, the credits are mostly within the bill, but that bill doesn't buy everybody that visits the play.
You use the sounds commercially, so as long as you donot use "non-commercial" licensed sounds, it's okay. Also see this thread: http://www.freesound.org/forum/freesound-project/32520/
