Someone called FunSoundTube has done a similar thing, but they have handled it much better. The attributions are in the videos themselves as well as in the descriptions: http://www.youtube.com/user/FunSoundTube/videos
Also as far as I can tell they are not offering download links that allow people to bypass the original sources here on freesound.
FunSoundTube
Regarding SEF: I received note from a user on these forums that one of my CC-BY sounds was uploaded to SEF on YouTube without attribution given in the video itself (CC-BY allows me to demand "reasonable" attribution in a medium and in-video text credits is more than reasonable). I will request deletion of the video and use YouTube's copyright complaint tool if not followed.
Here is the message that I wrote, in case any CC-BY 3.0 sound copyright holders would like to use it as a template to protect their rights:
Subject: Copyright infringement of my CC-BY 3.0 licensed sound on SEF YT Channel[POLITE_WORD] SoundEffectsFactory,
The SoundEffectsFactory (SEF) YouTube channel contains videos of sounds to which I own the copyright, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported license (CC-BY 3.0) [1]. The use of my sounds in these videos infringes upon my rights, in particular 4.b. of the license, which requires reasonable attribution/credits. For a video to contain text credits as part of the rendered video is completely reasonable. For a video to contain credits only in the text description is not sufficient.
You may only distribute videos of my CC-BY 3.0 licensed work that contain text credits inside the rendered video. YouTube annotations are not sufficient, instead the video has to be rendered with full attribution inside of it. The text has to be displayed either for the duration of the entire video or for a duration that allows an average reader to read the entire attribution (250 - 300 words per minute [2]). The font has to be well readable regarding foreground/background color and font size. The full credits have to be placed in the video description with direct, clickable links as well. All other terms of CC-BY 3.0 have to be adhered to.
Please delete all videos that contain CC-BY 3.0 licensed sounds, to which I own the copyright and do not upload any videos with CC-BY 3.0 licensed sounds, to which I own the copyright unless they adhere to the terms explained above and the CC-BY 3.0. Again, note that adding YouTube annotations is not sufficient.
Here is a list of affected videos that I was able to find:
[LIST_OF_LINKS_TO_AFFECTED_YOUTUBE_VIDEOS]
If there are any other videos with CC-BY 3.0 licensed sounds, to which I own the copyright, please delete them as well and do not upload any videos with CC-BY 3.0 licensed sounds, to which I own the copyright without adhering to the terms explained above and the CC-BY 3.0.
Please note that I will recommend to request the same attribution to copyright holders of CC-BY 3.0 licensed sounds that I discover being used in an infringing way.
Please note that in case deletion of the infringing videos does not occur within 48 hours after this message has been sent, the infringement of my copyright on the SEF channel will be directly reported to YouTube via their copyright notice forms
Please note that for time limitation reasons, future infringement of my copyright on the SEF channel will be directly reported to YouTube via their copyright notice forms.
Please note that I am merely protecting my rights to avoid spread of my CC-BY 3.0 works being used in a manner that infringes upon my rights.

If you're having trouble finding your works in videos on the SEF channel that infringe upon your rights, try your nameo or username as a search term in http://youtube.com/user/SoundEffectsFactory/search

I received a reply. A paraphrase follows:
The sounds in question were:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLDKeFJIbBE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4dNYAJlOVk [Edit: I believe I might have approved of this particular attribution but this is the only old video (2012) of a CC-BY 3.0 sound of mine on that channel as far as I can tell and in this one at least the correct information (title, username, link to profile AND sound page) was provided, while all the other only contain link to profile and license, which is not enough according to CC-BY 3.0]

It does put things into perspective.
I always try to concentrate on the good rather than the bad. - One good use of a sample uploaded to Freesound outweights 100 uses with no attribution, etc.
Having said that, I do find SEF particularly annoying and quite arrogant. I cannot say that he is a person I particularly like.
He has made (some) ammends, but often slips back into forgetting to attribute.
I think, realistically, he will stop bothering to attribute if he feels no one is watching and he can get away with it. He sees it as a waste of time and he is only interested in making money from other people's work - when he could have much more fun creating his own sounds and making money from those. Lack of expensive gear is no excuse...
I thnk he actually gets a kick out of ripping other people's sounds.
At the end of the day, if he gives attribution, what he is doing is legal and he should be left alone.
As I say, I rather concentrate on the good and I find using up my time to chase SEF is a waste of time I could otherwise use creatively.
But each of you should follow your own conscience. If you have sn issue with him not giving proper attribution, you should chase that up via the appropriate channels: formau Youtube complains, etc.
If you find someone else's work being abused by SEF, please handle that via private messate to the that user rather than here. also indicate to the user what he can do to place a claim with Youtube.

You have a good point AlienXXX
I wouldn't say he forgets now that we have collectively drilled it into his brain.
In my opinion he tries so hard to avoid attributing anyone where possible, as not to harm his ego. I really don't agree with what he is doing, even though he has shown us that he may have more consideration now. In my eyes what is going on is still a disgusting attempt to feed off other's creativity without applying even an ounce of own. Instead its like parasitic activity which I despise.
The key thing that I find despicable, is the fact that SEF is STILL deflecting attention away from Freesound, and the origin of the sounds themselves, this is just the icing on the cake for me.
Obviously now he has to attempt to abide by the rules because he's been foiled, but that doesn't stop him using CC (especially public domain) sounds still really unethically. However, my complaint against his activity is rather invalid, given that he is technically abiding by the rules now (from what I see anyway). So really ethics are irrelevant and subjective, but I can't help being concerned.
Even though all of my sounds are CC Attribution and I now state that in the sound description, I have no qualms really when it comes to people using my sounds within a creative piece of work. Usually all I want, out of interest, is to hear my sound in action. Obviously if one of my sounds was being used to profit off, i may be a little upset if I'm not credited. Fortunately SEF hasn't used any of my sounds (that i'm aware of) so i'm just here because I care about our community, and the welfare and justice for FS users.
Feel free to slate me if you don't agree with my statement.
I am now waiting for a response by the YouTube copyright team.
In addition, I send DMCA takedown notices to mediafire because of
http://www.mediafire.com/download/6kczs8ves7td5u5/nuclear_explosion_countdown_SoundEffectsFactory.flac
and
http://www.mediafire.com/download/40hs3bnsilf7yak/horror+ghost+whispering+SoundEffectsFactory.flac
based on http://www.mediafire.com/policy_violation/copyright.php
The issues with these two files I currently see are:
1. Attribution is given more prominently to SEF than to me, the creator.
2. License information is missing.
Section 4. a. of the CC-BY 3.0 license covers this topic.
Here is a template to use for mediafire:

Update:
I wrote the following message on Sep 13, 2013:
Dear YouTube copyright team,The person managing the http://www.youtube.com/user/SoundEffectsFactory channel infringes upon my copyright.
They upload my audio sound effect recordings, which I published under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 (CC-BY 3.0) - a license used by YouTube as well - licensed sounds but not giving the attribution required by the license and refusing to correct the infringement.
A list of the videos in question, name of the respectively used audio sound effect recordings under CC-BY 3.0 license and links to where I published the recordings under CC-BY 3.0 follows:
The type of all works are audio sound effect recordings.

I wrote to the user account of SoundEffectsFactory, who appears to not understand the terms of the CC-BY 3.0 license, on the freesound.org website, explaining the situation and requesting the changes. These were denied. As a reply, the user threatened me to file false copyright claims against my channels, if I file claims against SoundEffectsFactory, which they perceive as false.

Hm, interesting.
Hope the same will not happened with my chanel, which I also instinctively made after this palava. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=palava
Pretty sure not, because all the samples are made by MYSELF.
Nice desktop SEF ...

How did this happen, I wonder? qubodup knows what he is doing in relation to copyright.
Maybe he was the victim of an unfair complaint? Maybe by you (or one of your many aliases)? - You are right. I don't know... I am speculating here, right?
In case you did not realize, people had already left you alone to go about your mucky business. But now you come here and start drawing attention to yourself.
You really get a kick out of this, don't you? - OR maybe you have no friends and are desperate for some attention.
In any case. Why don't you go play somewhere else before you bite on more than you can chew.

One of the things I learned from my "useless" post above is that SEF's date of birth appears to be 28th November 1994 , if true he's an adult and legally accountable for his actions.
Previously , offending as a juvenile, people would have cut him some slack , but as an adult the gloves are off : playtime is over.
SoundEffectsFactory wrote:Alright then since you think you "know" so much. Get off your fucking high horse and take me to court. Set the date.
Or maybe you could spend your time recording/designing your own sounds rather than wasting your time here, trying to seek attention.
I stated this before in another thread, and I will concur with AlienXXX by reiterating; I genuinely believe that you nefariously sabotaged qudobup's channel with your myriad of accounts in order to shift some of the hostility off yourself. It is obvious like the sky is blue, because you so blatantly came here to publicize the news (in two seperate threads) to everybody as soon as it happened.
If you are trying to put someone else in the spotlight, it will not work, because everybody within this thread knows qudobup as the grand master of creative commons and copyrights. He is practically the guru, so for a channel such as his is extremely unlikely to be doing anything illegal.
I cannot prove this claim, and I don't intend to do so. I just know in my own mind that you are a very sly and deceptive person. So there is little chance to redeem yourself now; you have already soured the soup.
Have a nice day
