Dear Sir/Madame,
our company is creating a polish language website for small kids. We would like
to use one of the your sounds as a background music to our website
- http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=21842.
Can we use it as it is, unchanged? Please let us know if it is legal, because
here: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/sampling+/1.0/legalcode we cannot find
anything about websites and the possibilities of use your sounds in the net.
Yes. It is legal to use the whole sample on your website as background music for non-commercial purpose. Just make sure you credit reinsamba who is the author. Somewhere on your website you could state something like "Thank you to reinsamba from the freesoundproject.org for the use of oriole.wav" - note that this is only an example on how to credit the author.
If the file is available for others to download then make sure the license terms are clear for others to see ie. with a link to http://creativecommons.org/licenses/sampling+/1.0/
