So I'm making an app for iOS and I am interested in using some of sound files. Unfortunately none of them are under "Zero" license usage. I'm unsure of how I am supposed to credit and add a link to my app and credit these authors. Can I just add their links on the Official Facebook page for my app?
According to the faq on "how to credit"
http://www.freesound.org/help/faq/#licenses-1
and from what I understand from other discussions on the same subject, it's okay to create a page somewhere with the full list of credits (Please remember to use a direct link to each sound) Then in the credits/development information of your app point people towards the credits page with "This project uses many sounds from the freesound project" and a link to the full list.
If your app is a commercial project (you will make money from it) be sure to check the attribution on each sound and use only Attribution Non Commercial.
Good luck with it, hope this helps
