hey! I just joined this site and have a legal question
I was wondering if i could mix a bunch of sounds from this site (including some of my own, not from this site) into a few tracks, not to sell just to produce to show off to friends and family. If I could upload the tracks online, who would i have to give credit to? Every user i used pieces from, or just www.freesound.org
thanks in advance and i love this site!
As I understand and I am no board admin or moderator, you would have to credit the individual samples. In the example I am about to give you, the user hamerclevier - hope I spelt it right!, the samples along side their users were given.

Hope this helps, if not, contact bram or another admin or moderator.
Welcome to freesound!
