Hi, my name is Gavin and I'm a music producer. I am not certain which permissions I have as a user of this site. I want to use some of the samples from this site in my music and be able to sell that music without infringing any copyright laws. Is that possible?

Hello Skuchibae,

Welcome on board! The FAQ is the place to go as Klank says.
The idea behind the Creative Commons licenses used on Freesound is ‘some rights reserved’. A brief summary from a commercial point of view is that only the Attribution-NonCommercial licence forbids the sale of derivative works. Any use of a sound licensed under Attribution, commercial or otherwise, is allowed as long as the author is given credit, and Zero-licensed sounds have no copyright restrictions at all.
