Hello
I run an educational resource website and I am wanting to download a few CC0 licensed sounds from here and redistribute them on our site... the reason being to host and redistribute is as it will also pull sounds into an app from our site so we need to have them on our server. We would have a clear license statement making it clear they are licensed under CC0.
Is this allowed?
Many thanks
Paul
Hi Paul,
I'm sure the answer is yes, that's fine, as long as there is nothing on your site that implies you are the creator of them. Although it's not necessary, it would be a very nice gesture if you gave freesound a plug with a link somewhere on your site. It's a good way to say thanks guys.
Wibby.
p.s. You could, if you wanted to, go back to your other post "Sounds" and delete it. It helps to keep the forum tidy. It's the first icon in the top right corner of your post.
