Hi everyone.
I have a small issue with being able to correctly attribute an author when the title contains a Trademarked name, The following is a made up attribution example.
Title: 000000 Ford Truck going really really fast.wav
Author: https://www.freesound.org/people/ExamplePerson54734/
Source: https://www.freesound.org/people/ExamplePerson54734/sounds/0000/
Licenses: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/
legally I can not use any trademarks, logos or words in any form on the product or contained within text associated with the product.
How does one go about giving attribution in this situation. I know this seems extreme but rules are rules, and on the platform I use they are very strict about this.
This can be said for any sound effect that uses it's trademarked name in the title.
Thank you for your help.
My advice would be to just omit the word "Ford" from the sound title. Perhaps you can put a ellipse marker to express the word omission ("00000 ... Truck going really fast")
Your attribution is perfect otherwise (judging by your mock example) so I wouldn't worry too much about it. The most important part is referencing the source and the author.
