So, I was wondering if I download a sound by freesound, can I use it in a game I am making, for commercial use?
So, I'm not selling the sound by itself, but my game will contain your sounds.
Yes, but conditionally. It depends on the license type of the sounds exclusively.
CC BYNC (non commercial): you cannot use these sounds for your project
CC BY: You can use these sounds, but as long as you credit the author(s)
CC Zero: You can use these sounds without crediting
Check the licenses of the sounds you have downloaded/are using.
I will re-direct you to another thread with more detailed info on the topic.

I know this is an old thread, but I thought id add just incase others are curious (I was, and is how I find this thread)
but they link the license on the right hand side of the page. if you click the link it'll show you what you are within your right to do with the sound/sample
