Hi y'all, I'm Vosvoy Escat a french dude.

I was just wonderin' if I could post my ancient sounds (director's cut kinda)for the Freesound Community 'cause I've got plenty but as I don't have any recording gear anymore, I feel that I'm unable to be here anymore...

I will soon ask to the admins to entirely delete my account because I don't think I belong here anymore.

Can I do this unleast or not?

If you're considering deleting your account but sharing your sounds, you have an option to do that.

When you go to delete your profile in account settings, you'll be presented with an option to delete everything, or keep the sounds available but transferred to an anonymous account instead e.g. "deleted_user_xxxx".

Is this what you're asking for?

p.s. If you do this, I would recommend changing the license type for your sounds to the public domain. It's entirely your choice, but this would be considered the generous thing to do.

I'm terribly sorry for my poor english and the lack of details in my first post but I was not feeling good lately... (Covid-19).

I've got about 2To of custom sounds that I've made for canceled HL2 and UE3 mods (2010-2014) and I always wanted to share them with the Freesound Community.

However, some VO sounds are obscene, controversial and insulting. Moreover, some ambient and musics assets were made with Fruity Loops via Sytrus and I don't know if I've got the right to post it on the Freesound website, since those VSTs were not mine nor the mixed sounds that I've gathered from some free sounds websites. But, finally, I've made my mind.

I tried to delete my account a bunch of times but it never worked (Error 504: Django expired).

Could you please help me out; about deleting my profile (with my sounds)?

Remember, this is my choice (I don't have any good AAA quality sounds). I'm sorry about my 15 "followers" but I don't know what you're thinkin'! Get updated and search for more talented people.

We'll be happy to help you out with your account issues. It's more appropriate to do it this way.
