How do we grab a audio clip that i like from youtube so i can edit it the way i like.

in the past I used to connect a digital recorder directly to the earphones output of computer: it works, but I fear there's a chance of electrical damages for the recorder - I'm not so expert.

now I've found Movavi http://www.movavi.com/
price is USD30, very easy to use, you can download the whole video+audio or only the audio in wav uncompressed format.

please remember that uploading copyrighted material in Freesound is not allowed

You can also use online services like idesktop.tv to download YouTube videos, although quality may be low.
