Here's a question for the legal beagles.
In this topic, a user is requesting an airplane diving sound:

Is it legal/moral/ethical to fire up Microsoft Flight Simulator on my PC, put my Cessna into a nosedive, record that sound and submit it to freesound.org?

joedeshonno, that would be illegal, since you do not have the permission to re-license that sound (or derivate works of it)
