I'm looking for free stock footage and I was wondering if anyone here knows of any really good sites.
I've had a look and most of the ones I can find either cost money or have very low quality or very limited range.
I figure somewhere on the internets there must be something like this site but for video footage.
Anyone have any ideas?
I use the IA as a movie resource all the time. Lots of great material.
It's still in (re)development, but the basic functionality for the Video Liberty project is there:
Additions to the Liberated Videos database are greatly encouraged! Unlike this site, media files have to be hosted elsewhere rather than being uploaded -- it's more "directory" than "library."
The site will "soon" have a crew book feature where those who work with video and related media will be able to advertise their talents for free, whether or not they want to take part in the open-licensed video aspect of the site. I figured I'd mention that feature here when it is ready for use.
