Gear Exchange? For Sale?

Maybe I'm an idiot and haven't found it, but shouldn't there be a forum for gear exchanges and sales? I prefer to get my stuff from people that knew how to take care of it and use it. Like now I'm looking for a good Portable DAT recorder and mic setup for field recording. I always check ebay and craigslist, but any other suggestion?

Greetings, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of gear-talk happening on freesound, I'd say forget DAT and look at Flash Card recorders...
