here's an Italian composer
which push further the limits between sounds and music:

Hi Cajo, thanks for sharing the link.
Very inspiring. And proof, as I always say, that the difference between music and noise is mostly in your head
Although Diego Stocco uses some high end equipment, none of us should be put off. Notice that he also uses contact microphones - home made versions of these work really well and can be build under £0.5.
Certainly a subject we will come back to in one of our Dares...
sure AlienXXX, your signature...
here's another example (maybe I did already post it):

but don't ask me about prices or technical aspects!
Just heard this today; really incredible! I've been interested in unconventional instrumentation for a long time; I remember making a beat out of smashing leaves and twigs one time but never took it any farther. Wonder where it is...I'm feeling inspired now!
I really loved this guy's work for Omnisphere. He was a really great asset to the production of that instrument.
Now what a boring place this world would be without stars like this...

Be patient: I promise this will soon feature in a dare
In the meantime, if you just can't help yourself: feel free to upload as many beats as you like to Freesound
Ohh my, I'm very excited indeed
Perhaps I will take part in this one finally!
