is it just me or do most of the sounds on freesound have a strange high frequence squeek every now and then? im not entirely sure what to make of ot but i have noticed it in allot of tracks (i hear it in my headphones and monitors)

It's the transcoding for the low quality preview; It produces artefacts on sounds with a particular frequency content.
