I am wanting to hold a challenge/ dare type thing.
It involves users creating a loop from a series of drum-like sounds made a while ago by myself.
do I post in 'dare the community'?
since it is not a proper dare, I don't think I'm posting in the right place.
But am I? would this be acceptable as a dare?
(alienxxx- help!!)
thanks
Hello...
Yes, we have run things like this in the past.
I call them mini-dares.
You should post in the "Dare the community" forum.
Here is an example:

I have also posted other challenges called "continuum" - because there was no deadline and they were meant to be evergreen.
I think the last one was number 6

A continuum challenge would be more appropriate if you wanted people to continually recycle the sounds (i.e, make a loop, then make a different loop from that one, then make a different loop from the previous ones, and so on... 'continuum'...)
Please feel free to post the dare, with my blessing
I'll create dare-37 then.
p.s. the last continuum dare we hade was continuum 7- loops from changing stations on the Twente online receiver.
