I dont think so thanks for trying to help but that the stupidest piece of info i have ever got im not trying to save the image or the link i want the wave file for some beats i am working on
Someone please help if i down load a sample it goes right to quick time player and i want the actual wav file
CyberKat was right, you right click the download button and "save as"... you should delete that damn quicktime as it likes to hijack your preferences for opening files in a typically apple me me me way. Once you save a file, right click it and select "open with" browse to the program you use for wav files and make sure you click "always use this program" or whatever it says so that the file association will be set to the program you use instead of that bastard quicktime which won't even let you save a friggin file unless you pay them... assholes.
Yep,
First you "normal click" on the image of the wav file which takes you to a page dedicated to that sound. Then you'll see a button that says "Download right click + save as".
And depending on your browser and internationalization, the actual words for "Save Target As..." might be different. Also, if you're using Firefox, there's some problems reported with it not saving the file correctly. If that is the case, how much I hate to say this, try using a different browser.
BramI think that internet explore is imiles better than firefox, and quick time is quite useless with wave and other audio files appart from aif. Try wave pad in stead!
with firefox, just left-click.
quicktime might grab the file, but once it's loaded, just say "save as" from the "file" menu.- Bram

all is relative, Matthew... I always used Firefox since the first version, and never had a problem up/downloading or playing a sample. Firefox was also the first browser using tags, and... it's an open source free software
ciao!

Unless you buy quicktime, you cannot save anything...

I also love how instead of the file popping up in the program you have associated WAV files with, you get a blank white screen with a big blue Q in the middle and have to wait for the entire file to load before you can do anything, that is awesome!
I had uploaded a bunch of cell phone videos to an online album and was not able to get them because I refused to pay quicktime, they kept my videos hostage until I dropped the service, the phone itself won't allow me to get them out without buying software either, be carefull when you buy something and not fully investigate why it is so inexpensive... things have a way of costing more down the road. At least WMP lets you save the damn file when you are done watching it (don't tell the streaming only site admins!)
