The BBC has an ongoing research programme dedicated to binaural (3D sound) broadcasting.
Their latest production projects are being broadcast this Saturday on Radio 4 for Halloween. The first is an adaptation of the 70s classic The Stone Tape, directed by Peter Strickland [Berberian Sound Studio] and with a pretty stellar cast. That's followed by an adaptation of the Japanese horror classic Ring.
I'm not sure if they're broadcasting the binaural versions live, but they'll be available to listen to on the links shortly after transmission.
