Hello everyone excuse my grammar, repeating and other language problems.
Oh great what a start sorry I am who I am a human.
I just thought it would be a good idea to say Hi since I love the idea of this
website even though I come and go with big breaks and aways here on freesound.
Not that I am a part of something such as uploading sounds as of now it's rather a kind of get this, try, compare soundhunting for my own works if that's a correct way of describing it.
There is something that pulls me to an attention being sound itself. No matter what if I am happy, sad, angry there is always something that music offers but not just music but sounds as well.

Just the fact alone that I can use some of the sounds thanks to cc for my own use is great.
Another thing that I love about here is the simplicity of the design on this website.
It's so great unlike other websites who fall, change and because of this people literary hate they're websites to the core when they lose they're beauty, user friendliness and all that
tech stuff, simply magic. And what's worse they erase it from existence so you cannot go back but it stays in us.. Either way!
I just want to thank the creators for keeping it same and I hope the community is nice too.
I probably can't even imagine just how much as a developer you all have to go through having to
bear all those commands from people who tell you to change something or worse delete it.

I haven't used the forums here yet but I think I should try it and maybe one day myself or someone here will help out and me and you could become great friends thanks to sound I don't really have a friend dedicated to sound even in real life as of now but it's my wish.
These days I am even afraid to say anything anywhere anymore after all internet isn't what
it used to be or most likely it's just me that sees it differently now but freesound feels like
a home that anyone who wishes can join at least I think but I could be overexaggerating.
Whether I can discuss anything I want I don't yet know but finally I tried. I better re-read the rules as well.
(Hopefully it will be easy to find this topic again on my account profile)
I am a beginner here but hope to feel safe at least here. Either way I realize that I don't have to use the forums if I feel endangered and just listen to sounds and such and when it comes to learning something and discussing I hope everyone will accept me and my level of understanding just like I will respect everyone.

Now I'll write more about my sound life and past. One day I might write a biography just dedicated to sound.
So yeah here is something else that I think is useful to know:

I never thought about it seriously but recently I was fascinated about the idea of sound recording.
Saw it before, heard about it before but it was flying around but not close enough for me to see?
For me to hear? I don't know but finally it's a hobby which I should pursue I think once I'll start you get the idea.

I've realized that even when it comes to "music" I prefer the atmospherization in the background usually something that's harder to catch but it feels like heaven! Once again this home of sound has out of a surprise showed and proved to me that this website really means something amazing so thank you, Thank you and thank you and again thank you.
However I will need to start going outside to begin with hehe.
But at least this would give me the reason to actually go out. So indeed I am talking about outdoor or any type of sound recording but I need to find my own way as well and not just look for videos but I think with the devices I might need a little bit of help and I'll have to study.

What I have done close to sound recording in the past was using tools from the kitchen and seeing how it sounds when I combine it with others but I realized sometimes I need to let go and hear sound how it actually is when nature itself plays which improves hearing further.
A movie called "sound of noise" has inspired me with the tools to create music in that way.
Instead of doing it digitally though I think this would be much more fun.

This is a great place to find friends if thats what you're after, I'd pleasantly chat with you about sound and music related stuff of all sorts and maybe you could bring up an idea that we could both somehow collaborate on, that would be fun

What a nice welcome I didn't expect someone nice, greatly appreciate it.
Even though during when I was writing this I kept re-reading it in detail. It seems like no matter what I always leave a lot of mistakes behind in the texts sorry for that. It's kind of embarassing but oh well it's up now.

It was a pleasure to write this. From time to time I love expressing myself even though I seem to struggle even on the internet at home.

If freesound has at least some nice, friendly people then I am in all the way.
I haven't found a friend in a long time in any place especially dedicated to sound. You seem like a nice guy. This is it I've been welcomed the chance is over but it was a very nice feeling when I was welcomed and now it's my time to welcome
other people and invite others!

When it comes to me it terms of music the truth is I don't know much about it in words but rather in hearing. With learning about it I've forgotten just about everything in school and now I will share something I consider funny.

The worse thing that happened in terms of my music subject is this..
I couldn't figure out the dates for my final music exam which is what I was best at but how did I forget? To this day I don't know but finally I am wearing glasses.
Either way I guess exams are just an approval of what we've passed and a bunch of marks that make up a final image of proof which well I didn't forgot and didn't attend.

Since I don't know that much about sound what would be nice is if someone could recommend some books which mentions a lot about sound recordings. I'd prefer something organized in simple explanations even when it's complex and some terms wouldn't hurt either I mean I've found some stuff on the internet but anyone can find that and at this point I am not sure what's more useful compared to other learning materials but I guess that's up to me to decide.

I never read a book about sounds specifically, in fact i dont like reading books in general lol i much rather make stuff with my ears, eyes and hands instead of being technical, but there is a technical side to audio, it depends what kind of stuff you wanna record, there isnt just one fixed way to handle all audio recordings

I'm still pretty new to the world of sound, but there's a couple of books I've come across that were a great read.

David Sonnenschein's "Sound Design" is a pretty good start. Though that talks about the role of sound in film and the art of sound design itself, it is still a very fascinating read for anyone with a passion for sound.

The late David Yewdall has a book called "Practical Art of Motion Picture Sound", which is in a similar category to Sonnenschein's, though a bit more extensive and technical. It goes in to the role of the sound designer in film and television, talking about the equipment, the history of the sound designer as well as many anecdotes about how the sounds are created.

There are plenty of other books out there that I have yet to discover, but those ones are a good pick if you're interested in sound design.
