Hey there!
Simply question, but I never found the answer to it.
Is there a name or category for sounds that are used when the speed of the image/footage speeds up or becomes slower? For example:

I hope you know what I mean, these simple and "small" but effectual sounds.
Thank you!
Hi,
often you don't use particular sounds for that (although of course you can add any sound that fits to increase the feeling) it's what you do to the existing sounds: changing the playing speed.
And not in a "smart" way like YouTube does, trying to preserve the pitch, but like you'd hear by playing a 45RPM vinyl record at 33RPM.
If you have Audacity, you can try it yourself with the Change Speed effect in the Effects menu.
Even better, for a progressive change, you can use the Sliding Time Scale/Pitch Shift effect, also in the Effects menu; with this one you can easily simulate the operator turning the playback speed knob of the video/audio.
