I've just worked out that I joined Freesound 11 years ago today, and I would just like to say that, whilst I haven't added anything myself, I always find it interesting to hear the various contributions that people make to the website. Anyone who took a look at my download history would probably twig from it that I am mostly interested in sounds from the London Underground, and trains and stations around my home country of Britain, but I take an interest in lots of different things really. I look forward to seeing what other contributions people make; keep up the good work everyone!

I'm quite similar! I haven't posted much, but I love freesound.org. I hope to contribute more in the future.

By the way, for folks who are wondering how it's possible you've been a user for eleven years (and I've been a user for twelve) given that freesound.org's ten year anniversary is coming up in June: the Freesound Project existed even before it moved to freesound.org. It used to be hosted on upf.edu.
