This is just a question that I have been wondering for quite some time now. Why is the moderation of newly uploaded sounds so slow? Do actual humans listen to the sounds? If so, why does it take them a while to listen to them and approve them? And how can they make it faster? Maybe switch to bots instead of humans? Lets chat about this. I am not mad or anything, I just genuinely want to know why the mods are so slow at approving new sounds. If someone can answer this for me that would be great and I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks
Hi, yes, a human has to listen to each and every sound. They are volunteers, sometimes they are busy, sometimes there are a lot of sounds to go through. I don't know if a bot could do that job as they would have to be familiar with sounds that are ok and not ok. Often that involves contacting the uploader to ask some questions, have them adjust the tags or description and other stuff like that.
Ahh okay. That explains things. Thank you very much for answering this for me. I appreciate it a lot
