Hello people!

i never post on the forum, and lately i dont download anymore to, because i am focussed on making my own sounds, but the wonderfull thing is that this gives me even more reason to contribute my sounds!

its just a really good feeling when your working on your music and in the process you created sounds that you dont need @ the moment, but are perfectly useable for someone else maybe, and than you just collect them , and upload them here! its dead easy and logical.

its the same as with old furniture, you can throw it away, or you can take it to the recycle shop where someone can pick it up, and maybe use your old sofa for ten more years!

So keep this site in the air, and keep sharing your recorded-created sounds!

You know, I totally agree. Positive energy is well accepted in this day and age! In the few years I have been with Freesound, I have watched it get hacked, change servers, upgrade via python, received spam. And participated in 1 or 2 challenges. I say kudos to Bram. And to anyone that comes around and finds inspiration in the sounds and sights people here create with anything less than a mic a cheap synth, DIY equipment. Or even studio engineers. I have to agree..... I as well (love) Freesound. Bram, you fucking rock! And thank you for all the years : ) and to many more.

EDIT: I Actually bought me and my girlfriend 2 shirt's (well a tank top for her.....they look hot, what can I say!).....Wow.....what's happening.....
