Don't know, don't care, what concerns me is whether Whales and other marine life will be affected by this sort of pollution.
The whales can look after themselves ...

I'm with benboncan.
It's my stronge opinion that Military Sonar is most probably behind the majority of Whale and Dolphin strandings. There is growing evidence for this even though the Military deny any link.
Hopefully they will decide the acoustic signature renders the subs susceptible to detection so will decide to abandon it.
