first let me say, this site is awesome...now my quest.. having lived in the mountains of hawaii for a few years, my wife and I have always longed to emulate the wonderful wind, rain, bamboo and metal chime sound we used to sleep to while we live in hawaii. I am 100% sure i can do this with the soundbytes on this site.
Problem is, i have no idea what software to use to mix, loop and attenuate the different sound clips.. i used acid express 5.0.. but it doesnt save in a format i can record to a cd and play on cd player...
Is what i want to do possible, and if so how?
Thanks for the help, and again, you have a wonderful site to help people with their creative sound ideas
*UPDATE*...i have an acid compilation completed, and my wife and I have the biggest grins on our faces listening to it.. still trying to figure out how to record it to a cd playable format
ok now i get the whole export thing... silly of me.. anyway.. i went back to acid and figured it all out
dlooshnl, you forgot to attribute the samples you used in that song.
please, this is a very important aspect of freesound; when you use a sample in your work, you have to say that you did and point to the original author!
have a look at this and copy-paste what you used onto the website with the mp3:

thanks a lot,

Nice work, it sounds relaxing. I like it even more since this is the first time I've heard one of my freesound contributions being used by somebody.
