without any doubt I value the most : http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/samplesViewSingle.php?id=20126
night in the wild, unforeseeable behaviour of the moth, damn hard to get close to it... This recording is unique IMO
Mosquitos. Definately mosquitos "in flight" for longer than half a second. I still have nightmares about recording mosquitos. And then they were not even "in the wild".
Nice job, I'll keep that one close by. Man I can picture it, did you have an afterparty for that recording?
I think it's safe to say that organisms in general present the most problems, particularly ones that can think. Or think they can
That's excellent stuff WIM, I love it when the second one joins in. It's such a unique sound, kindof like a walrus doing a slomo noooooooooo...
Similar to Dobroide's, but also to capture the sound of the insects feet ... have you ever heard them?

I just love the way his little feet run up over the mic cover before he whirrs his wings and takes off.
