would seem to indicate you can put this onto a DVD-Video and the DVD player would have to try and play it as it's a specified allowable format, even in LPCM
Your preferred authoring software may not be able to cope with that though. The only way I know to get LPCM on a video DVD is to author using ifoedit (google will be your friend) to mux the audio and video, most easy DVD author progs convert this to the infernal ac3 even if you have the disk space.
Of course the DVD player may simply downsaple the signal to 48kHz which is the norm for DVD-video - they're not noted for their ambition in audiophile quality.
