I have some stereo field recordings of single notes from the fairground organ (caliope) at Los Angeles' Griffith Park - full of wheezes and noise from the air pump and motors. there are all the different ranks in semi or whole tones waiting to be cleaned up and then used by composers.

If I may suggest, you could upload the sounds as they stand and users surely will clean as needed. If not the whole collection send some so we can see if noise can be removed easily or not

Hi, im new on Forum, but i have some experience about. I use this Plugin tool " Wave Diamond" whit my Cubase Sx3 also is full compatible whit : Kristal, Audacity, Sonar, Adobe Audition, N-track Studio, etc... the wavediamond comes whit many features about 70 , but have 6 tools for remove noise or reduce about 90% ( X-clix, X-hum, X-crack and some more ) easy to use and intuitive...

thanks to all of you. i'll put something up online complete with noise - - once my imac g3 is back up and running again. it's been flashing a question mark when turned on for since right befoire the holidays. So far no luck with all of my friends' suggestions. the files are on the hardrdive. any ideas? I'll keep you posted.
