Has anybody got an idea, how good the "Telinga Clip-Ons" are?
Telingas have good reputation, but I have no experience with them. Still in doubt if I should buy or not a parabola... holy crap, this is just too much gear to carry around!!

..and I just feel in he same way! rMind you, those clip on´s should be like those WL183. Maybe quieter?
They are well documented on the nature recordists group, shouldn't be difficult to know, just ask Klas@Telinga
Looks like they might be similar, at least regarding selfnoise, http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/naturerecordists/message/40510
I wish I could setup some capsule inside a dish without having to purchase still more mics...

Look here too: http://www.zachpoff.com/diy-resources/low-noise-binaural-mics-primo-em172/ $
Hi inchadney,
i made a small test with Primo EM 172, DPA 4060 and OKM II Klassik Studio
look here:

I like the Primo capsules but unfortunately they sound somewhat curtailed in the higher frequencies but they are so sensitive
sorry for my bad english...
Yes, from the spectrogram - and as you said - the response might not be very flat...

It's a bit hard to tell from the mp3 (constant bit rate 192) but anyway, they are really sensitive and quiet... Ok, I'm also giving these primos a go, thank you!
