I've recently started trying to 'beef-up' my recording gear bag, and now I'm looking for some good, cheap (Under $80) binaural mics for use with my Tascam DR-03. It does have a built-in 1/8" ext. in port, and in the manual is says it supports mics that require external power, but looking over some in-ear binaurals online I get somewhat confused over whether they will work and I certainly don't want to get something that doesn't work with my equipment...so, I'm looking for some advice from some of you more advanced audio techies out there. Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide me with
The cheaper good binaural mics you want, the more DIY (do-it-yourself) is before you. Contact Soundman (http://www.soundman.de/ but they speak english) and ask them. They should advise.
