Hello!
I am trying to create the sound effects for a video clip for a homework assignment. The one thing that I cannot seem to get right is the sound of human contact (i.e. hands touching/stroking, wiping face). I tried used fabric noises, but it just sounds too fabricy. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or is there a specific tag I should look under?
Thanks!
Ric Veers (Sound Effects bible) suggest rubbing/stroking the back of your hand. These are soft, subtle sounds so a shotgun mike would be best.
Cheers
David
Thanks!
The only problem is, I have no access to a microphone and have to find a sound online. I thought it would be a pretty common sound, and am wondering if I am just looking under the wrong tabs?
Here is an example of rubbing hands together.

You will probably need to edit the sound and just take a little clip of it for your purposes.
