does anyone know of a good program that doesnt affect speed but only the pitch of a sound?

Audacity, if all you want is just to change a pitch without things like a "bending" effect.

Try Audacity, it has a Change Pitch setting in its' effect menu (as well as Change Tempo and Change Speed). It runs on Windows , Linux or Mac and it's free. Just go to - audacity.sourceforge.net - or check the wikipedia entry - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audacity.
