Hello, I'm a new user and new in the field of Sound creation.
In real life I'm a magician and I like to create my own Sounds for my Show.
And here is the Problem:
I've build a special setup for using sounds in my Show. It is a MP3 Player with extended switches (For installing anywhere on my Body).
The MP3 player is connected to a UHF transmitter. So I can start sounds on my will and exactly timed
O.K. so far. Now the Problem:
If I use professional sound examples like "sound-ideas.com" everything works fine.
For my own sound creations I use FL-Studio (www.flstudio.com/). The Effects that I create sound really good on my computer.
But when I use them with my MP3 setup i get a huge amount of noise.
Sorry I cant explain the "noise" in english, in german its "Rauschen" and some distortion in deep basses.
It sounds like an old transistor radio from the 50ties ...
So here my question: Where could this come from? And what can I do?
Any help or suggestions, ideas or further questions are welcome.
When exporting my sounds to MP3 with FL-Studio I use 320kbit bitrate, sinc depth 256, Alias free TS404.
My Soundcard is Terratec DMX6fire
Thank you.
Ok, first reduce the volume of the MP3-player, check if your sound is self-satured,
or reduce the bass booster of the MP3-player...
Else, Your UHF transmitter/receiver is not exeactly on the Freq, there is interferences
caused by something in the installations, or there is not enough power for the transmitter...
If you can"t find the problem get an tone sound on this site and do test with it...
Thanks for your answers.
I will check all your Ideas and then upload a Sound and a recording of what is coming back with the transmitter.
I'm away for 2 Days now. An will then post my experiences.
Thanks a lot!
Kai
