I just found an amazing sequencer! And it's free!
I guess this proves the point that there's some freeware out there that is better than expensive programs like NI's stuff.
I've decided to not get a NI thingy, or at least not for a few years. After making a recording of me making noise with trash cans and other 'percussive intruments' in my garage, I decided it would be a better idea for me to get a drum set.
By the way, this sequencer that I mentioned, You may have heard of... It's called Wizard Master Control System Version 3, made by good old Bludgeonsoft.

Don't be deceived by the cheesy graphics, this is possibly the best damned sequencer you can get for free! Even if you love your reaktor, your absynth, your "modular sound environment" junks (no offense), your fancy expensive programs, whatever, this thing is worth anybody's time!
The Wizard Master Control Program lets you trigger external MIDI devices or your computer's awesomely simplex internal MIDI instruments with 128 separate beat configurations (8 loops of 16 beats each) each with its own controls for instrument, pitch, volume, stereo panning and duration. This is possibly the oddest little drum machine and sequencer you will ever come across. Resizing the window changes the loop length, and the tempocan be set to beats per minute (anywhere from 0.001 bpm to 50,000 bpm and beyond!) or samples per measure
Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
