So I'm about to connect to the net and record some DX radio, but I need to configure my EMU 0404 USB card so I can record with it. Pre this card I could just start record to get what I wanted, now I can't do that. So anyone who can help me out I'd really, really like that alot.

If it's anything like my Tascam US122, you can't directly record sounds playing through the card. You'd have to plug the outputs into the inputs and record that way. Not a terrible way to go, as long as the d/a and a/d converters are up to snuff. I'm also assuming the unit has a seperate monitoring channel.
