I have a MOTU 828 mkII Interface all installed on my computer, the CueMix console is working, I can see the the sound being monitored on it, but I can't figure out how to "plug" it in Cubase SX....Help me please!
Well, if Cubase didn't automatically pick it up (and you've already tried installing/reinstalling the drivers and restarting your computer) there's a couple things you can try. If you only want it to handle stuff to and from Cubase, open the program, go to devices - device setup. You'll need to select your device from the drop down list, and that should get you going. If that doesn't help you, check if you can play Windows sounds through it. Go to your Control Panel, into Sound, and make your MOTU your default sound card for everything except midi. Then Windows should play everything it does through the MOTU. If that doesn't work, there's something wrong. Good luck.
EDIT: Sorry, I just realized I had assumed you were using PC. ops: If not, sorry about the Windows babble.
Thanks alot!
I'll try this. oh and by the way I use Windows so it's ok  I should have said it in the first post
