Hi: Dumb question from foll who thought he knew some stuff.
I'm running Cubase as my DAW and have a variety of VST plug ins for a variety of uses.
But I want to make use of some of the samples from your excellent site and I am at a loss as to what VST I need to "play them".
Sampletank won't - their files formats require a threre part file rather than a straight WAV.
The other things I have (I -probabbly wrongly) call them sequencers won't change note (i.e. drum samplers which mean when I go to edit the midi input, I can play only one note on one each channel>
So what I need is a FREE (naturally) "thingy" that will take the WAV samples and play them at different note levels.
Sorry for such a dumb question, but I find the good people who popuklate forums like this tend to have "been there done that" and can tell me what they wrote on the tee shirt.

WHat you want is a sampler, i would recommend shortcircuit from vember audio, i have been using this for 3 years and its great, the demo on the site allows only 2 note polyphony but like many others have found its worth buying the full version, i also use the emu x but not as often as shortcircuit.
its very straight forward to use (only 1 page) and has all the features i expect from a sampler after having been using hardware ones since 1994
