Hi

I'm using Reason, but i'm a novice with samples. any help on which reason device i should use to use the samples, or if i need to do anything to the file before i can use it in reason would be appreciated!

haven't use reason in over 2 years. but if i recall all you have to do is open up the drum machine and load a sample into one of the slots. don't recall the drum machines name.

you could use them in the sampler as well-but i think you have to do something to them like put them in the sampler format and map it arcoss the samplers key board.something like that.

If you want to play them (eg Piano samples) I suggest NN19 or NNXT. Also, if it's a long loop and you don't have Recycle, try slicing the beat in equal parts and trigger them at equally spaced moments with the Redrum Sequencer.

Drum wise, you could also get Drumkit From Hell, which is awesome and works with Reason. Am personally looking forward to getting version 4 of Reason, because the upgrades and new stuff look really cool.

I prefer using the Dr. Rex device.. That is if you have Recycle... Hope that helps.

Drumkit From Hell is VST plugin.. as i remember.. there's no drumkit for reason... if there is let me know

Drumkit From Hell is a VSTi plugin, but its samples can be sampled by any sampler. I don't know if there are any presets for any Reason samplers though.

Can anyone tell me where to find this drum machine VSTi, id like some killer drum samples. got quite a few but i always love to find some good snares and new hard kicks. :twisted:
