hi,
if you have a stereo mic with one cable connection (L/R in one cable) and a recorder that only accepts stereo input L/R
-->separately<-- , what are (if any) solutions to connect the two together? for instance, I was checking out the Audio Tech. Pro 24 to use
with the Korg Mr-1, but I've run into this odd problem, to my knowledge the Mr-1 does not record in mono only stereo, is there some sort of
an adapter to use between the two? kinda confused here :?
thanks!
ps the AT Pro 24 cable is attached to the mic (cant replace it).
I'm pretty sure there ARE connectors which shouldn't be expensive. Just check at your local electronics or music store they should have it.
hmmm the sales guy recommended *not* to get an "adapter", he also said that the left channel of the input device
should record in stereo... that was "news" to me, never heard of that before..., needless to say we tried his left connection
thing with no luck. I would think that splitting a single stereo cable into independent cables would do something to the actual
stereo recording? :?
Search the web for "3.5 y splitter cable". Make sure it's stereo. You'll find things like these:

If I understood it correctly this should solve your issue.
good luck
