What exactly are you trying to do?

You mean where his "sucked" into the mirror right? I've been trying to make that sound for several years.. and I havent come up with anything that sounds so freakin awesome like in the movies.. It gives me goose bumps every time I hear it.. I'm also experimenting with that freeze thing.. I got their classic bundle not long ago, so I will continue on my quest.. hehe
There's a rough taxonomy of time-stretching sounds in Ableton Live at Remixmag.com, some of the terminology is poorly chosen, and the prose ain't that sharp, but it was my first.

I'd love to hear if you try these techniques out!

something i've tried in pro tools, (if you are talking about an effect along the lines of when "neo" takes the pill in "the matrix" ------i stretched the sample out a bit, put the grid on 1/64ths, then take the first 4 grid sections, copy it, paste it right behind the first 4 sections, shorten the front of the 4 section by two, and add two on the end of it, then sample the second section you just made, and repeat.........maybe this visual would help.........
[1] [2] [3] [4]----[3] [4] [5] [6]----[5] [6] [7] [8]----[7] [8] [9] [10]----[9] [10] [11] [12]
i had to experiment with it to make different samples sound right, but it ended up working for what i was trying to do........good luck and let me know if it worked for you!--peace.
