How do I eliminate the edit clicks in Audacity 1.3 beta? It seems that every time I delete one, I create another. In Pro Tools I'd simply create a crossfade, but Audacity's crossfades are not like those of Pro Tools. :? And thank you.
I may not understand correctly but if i do.. pops and clicks are caused when the sound wav fails to terminate at 0db in other words it cuts off before all noise is gone.
In audacity just find the click zoom in and select the area (im talking about a small area where the sound wave ends abruptly) and fade it either in or out a few times.
You could cut it out, but you would need to make sure the cut.. begins and ends at 0DB
Hope that helps. :!:
Yes, I'm beginning to get the hang of this. Thank you so much!
