I think you might get more answers to your question at KVR...
On the left side of the page you see "Forum"...try in "Getting Started" or "Production Techniques"
Good luck !

Hey I may be able to help but I really need more information in what you are wanting. This website may be able to help you if I can not.

Im no expert at DnB bassline but I know its all about the bassline and drums!! So just create what you feel is good enough, listen do not go by what you hear in other artists with big labels behind then!! If it's good for you then be happy and be pleased!!
The biggest problem for producers like US without a big name behind us is confidance, just cus it doesnt sound right to you does not mean others will not suck it up and love it!! Mate!! Be positive about you music and be creative!!
Only things I can suggest man!!
Listen to what everyone else does, mock it occasionally and do something cooler.
Taking inspiration from others is essential, I think. If you can come up with a bass line, hum one for example, then transpose that into your software.
Not sure if you can do it in Reason but Sonar has a Piano Roll View where you can hear each note by clicking on each piano key then draw it in.
Really helps.
Good luck.

Hey man yeah reason can be tricky to get decent basslines out of but if you take one bassline that you like and put a very low sub bass from subtractor on it and copy that bassline and on that on eput an edgier bass and then blend the two together you will have a much fatter bass sound try it and let me know. Oh BTW you should really try out Ableton Live instead its a MUCH better DAW than Reason.
