In the last years,
I see new technologies like Dolby 5.1 ans DTS
where in some specific cases we are able to use
the infrasounds down to 2 or 5Hz and up to 80, 116, 120 or 180 Hz.
What I would know from everyones,
Is it Can Be Usefull to create specific infrasound-dominant samples
or just let them regular and the user just use a low-pass filter
for the specific case he need.
The issue is whether your listeners will be able to reproduce infrasound on whatever speakers they are using, which is pretty unlikely. (Obviously by definition they won't be able to hear it either even if they could reproduce it on their kit, but it can still have an effect on people in other ways.) AFAIK only specialised speakers can reliably produce infrasound, also some of the larger pipes in church organs can do so.
It might be useful for certain scientific or natural history subjects, eg elephants can communicate via infrasound. Fascinating topic anyway.
