n00b question about ripping from films

I downloaded Flac and tried to convert a file to wav so Ican use the opening song. No luck so far. I'd be so greatful if you could point me in the right direction.

I'm using Xilisoft Audio Ripper to extract any Audio Material from DVD Movies. smile
