does anyone know how i can convert an mp3 file to use as audio in logic studio 8?
thanks.
I'm not familiar with Logic, but I would be shocked if it was not able to at least open an MP3 and convert to .wav
Otherwise download something like Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/) and use it to convert.
if you have FL studio you should be able to put the sound on there and render it into wav.
but i'm not going to just assume you have FL so i'll try and find a mp3 converter, i know i've used one before.
ha took me like 2 seconds to find. fucking love google. anyway
i used that before to convert stuff to OGG. but it can convert to WAV. too
if you are on windows:
http://www.dors.de/razorlame/
http://www.rarewares.org/mp3-lamedrop.php
these are free and open source.

In Logic 8 just drag the mp3 into your Arrange - in the Audio bin choose copy/convert (control+c) - select wav as target format - done
or use the Compressor app which comes with Logic studio - this will convert just about anything into anything...
I'm not familiar with Logic, but if you've got Windows, an easy way you could do it is play the mp3 in WMP, click "File" and then "Save As" and in the area where the title is, just type ".wav" after it and it will be a wav file. I'm old fashioned.

Just get FlexiMusic Wave Editor to convert from wave to mp3s at various bitrates.
