Several years ago my company made a tape (!) called "Exploring Music & Sound On Your PC!" It was hailed as the most complete guide to beginning audio in on place! But it was ahead of its time (unlike our other tutorials on Windows, etc.)
I've taken the 2008 relevant parts from the DAT and made them into a series of (free) podcasts. They will be of interest to anyone wanting to know more about sampling rates, MIC quality, legalities, and very basic editing and mixing demonstrations. Have a listen at acpress.com.
These casts are also found via iTunes.
Let me know what you think!
Thanks!
Jack
Hi Jack,
Thanks for sharing these podcasts, I enjoyed listening to them. I especially liked the one on microphones where you gave audio samples
of each type of microphone. That would be essential listening for anyone considering the purchase of their first microphone.
I also listened to your podcast on rechargeable batteries. I had never heard of the type of battery called "eneloop" so I picked up some
valuable info listening to that podcast.
Thanks again!
Steve
