Hi folks!
Im Thomas, a professional audio engineer from the Netherlands. I also am a semi-professional producer.
I recently purchased a Presonus Studiolive 24.4.2 to mix bands live. (GLAD i did not buy the Behringer X32)
When surfing around on the internet on articles about my new mixingdesk I bumped into a very interesting article that might apply to you as well.
I hate myself that I did not think of this earlier! I knew it was possible but I never thought of selling it this way to my customers!!
It lets you earn extra money from customers you already have! You will make your bands VERY happy, and receive more studio-work AND live work :
The article is here (to long to copy paste) HOW DIGITAL MIXING MAKES YOU EARN MORE $$$http://livemixingandrecording.blogspot.nl
I wonder if you guys can come up with similar suggestions so please post them to my Thread and see if we can learn from eachother!
Cheers!
Thomas (The Netherlands)
well that seems like a very intelligent response to a nice article that could be useful for those who start.
cheers,
Thomas
Thomas - either you are good sound engineer for creating stuff, or good businessman for selling stuff. Rarely both. You can create a pretty good stuff and be not able to sell it, or create s**t and earn on it so much that you would be surprised.
I will not click on your link - who knows what kind of advertising it will display or what data will it track to whom? But I bet you will click on mine (in the footnote).
hmmm... nice tips...
thanks before
